Follow steps for your platform. Switch between macOS and Windows.
1 Open the downloaded DMG file
Locate the downloaded Embedr-0.0.7-arm64.dmg
file in your Downloads folder and double-click to open it.
You'll see a window with the Embedr app and Applications folder. Drag Embedr to Applications to install.

2 Handle security warnings
Security Notice
macOS will show security warnings since Embedr is not signed with an Apple Developer certificate. Follow the appropriate solution below.
If you see "Embedr is damaged" error:
This error occurs due to macOS Gatekeeper. Fix it using Terminal:
- Open Terminal (Applications → Utilities → Terminal)
- Navigate to Applications:
cd /Applications
- Run:
xattr -c Embedr.app
- Try opening Embedr again

If you see "Developer cannot be verified" error:
- Click "Cancel" on the error dialog
- Go to System Preferences → Security & Privacy → General
- Click "Open Anyway" next to the blocked app message
- Confirm by clicking "Open" in the next dialog


3 Launch Embedr
Once you've resolved any security warnings, you can launch Embedr from your Applications folder or using Spotlight search.
The app will now run normally without further security prompts.
